Come, you children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
Psalm 34:11
This is a photo of my amazing mom.  She'll be 89 years old next month.  And two of my grandchildren - Grace is 5 and Sam is 2 -  with their great grandmother.

I love the joining of the generations.

We have so much to share with each other.  The older with the younger and the younger with the older.  I see so many older people who think their lives have no more worth.  But to sit at their feet and milk them for wisdom and values is more than precious.  And of course we all know that we learn so much from the little ones - whether we like it or not!

Blessings on your day!

Mary,
What a BLESSING for those kiddos to know their great gram! Some of my greatest wisdom came for one extraordinary man. A simple man. My grandpa...If my son can grow into a man like he was the legacy will continue!

Blessings to you!
Let's do it...let's teach them ALL who they are in Christ!

hugs!

Hi, Mary! My grandmother is 84 and I drink her up like a tall glass of water on a hot day. The best part is that my children LOVE her beyond words and they are five, three and 21 months. What a great verse you have chosen to go along with a precious photo!

Precious.....we forget that those who are older have so much to give.
I could not have children due to radical surgery and it was a grief but I think it almost hurts more seeing all my friends being Grans.
I do get to share a few cuddles.
