Friends or Family

My hubby and I just had an amazing time of ministering to some very precious people in Nashville, TN. You could say we're jumpin' for joy! Oh, yeah! God brought this body of believers into our lives by His hand through a divine appointment. And it's by His Spirit that we are bonded together in His love.

I always get a picture of a chess board and how God moves us around to be in the right place at the right time, to meet the right people for the right reason, etc. That's what He did with us in our connection with New Life Christian Center. BTW if you're in the Nashville area, you need to check out this place of worship. You will be blessed and strengthened in your walk with God.

We had a blast this past weekend. We stayed at the world famous P and S Bed and Breakfast. (actually, it's not a B and B that's open for business, but they are world famous! ) We ate lots of fabulous food! We were treated as royalty. Our hearts desire was to challenge the socks off these people to hunger and thirst for more of God and go deeper with Him. I believe that God accomplished that in their lives and He changes us in the midst of ministering to others.

As we were preparing to return to our home, our host told us that we weren't friends anymore, but that we were family. Okay, hold back the tears.

I stand amazed at what God does in our lives when we let Him. We are outrageously blessed because Pastor Shane said yes (there's a story to that one!) when God spoke to his heart about asking us to come to his church. And we said yes, fully trusting that God knew what He was doing. It was a stretch for both sides. We like our tent pegs to be stretched! (1 Chronicles 4:10)

We poured ourselves out on our Tennessee family. They poured out on us that good ole' Southern Hospitality! And we're ready to go back! So TN family, if you're reading this, we love you bunches!

I need to give a little "shout out" for a couple friends that I love dearly. Both of these gals have just started blogging. Go to their sites and give them a friendly welcome. I hope they have as much fun meeting ya'll as I have!

Smelling Good - she has a huge heart with big dreams

My husband has been in Nashville quite a bit lately for the Godmen events (author of No More Christian Nice Guy). He loves Nashville! If I ever go w/him, I'll look you up :)
We're currently in Ireland, and then off to Wales for a week. The hospitality is amazing here! :)

I love thinking about all our 'extended family'. We are so blessed to know so many from all over the world - it's crazy. I love the chess thought!

A weekend to remember

This morning was a sad morning, two friends went back home. They had come up for the weekend to preach at my church New Life Christian Center ( for our 8 year anniversary service. They our a wonderful, spirit filled, couple who loves the Lord and each other more than I have ever seen. After almost 30 years of marriage they still act like teenagers. The blessings they poured out on us and the church was unreal. Thanks for coming it was fun. Hope you come back soon M&M. I know
God will continue to bless your ministry.
